Fall Rocks ~ NJ Family Photographer

A beautiful family in a beautiful setting…this was the epitome of a rockin fall session from last year. I thought I would post it now that September is well underway and summer is fading quickly in the rear-view mirror. (sniff, sniff) I can’t fight it, but what I can do is get excited about some of the year’s most spectacular natural backdrops. Fall foliage makes for some gorgeous family photos and peak season is approaching fast (generally mid-October to mid-November). It’s a small window, and my most popular time of year for sessions, so don’t put off scheduling if you want to capture this special time of year!

Loving Family! ~ LBI NJ Beach Photographer

This is one LUCKY little boy. He is surrounded by such a loving family. An awesome Mom & Dad, two playful uncles, an adoring aunt, and wonderful grandparents who showed him so much love in this photoshoot. His mom wanted our session to capture movement and candid moments of laughter, love and joy…well, they were so lively and natural in front of the camera that this was simple to catch! What a magical evening on the beach for us!

Beautiful Family by the Seaside! ~ Sea Girt Beach Photographer

I’ve had the extreme pleasure of photographing this BEAUTIFUL family many times during many seasons, but this was our first beach session. And it did not disappoint! The beach is one of my favorite back drops for a family session, because it has always been a special place in my life, and I love seeing families creating magical beach memories of their own. This mom and dad are easy-going, fun and comfortable in front of the camera. And I have to say, that watching these two boys grow from darling newborns to handsome young boys in what seems like the blink of an eye, only goes to reinforce just how treasured these images will become as the years go on…

The Beach is Back…

Memorial Day Weekend is almost here, so I wanted to kick off the summer with a “Best of the Beach” slideshow of some of my very favorite beach images. As you know, the Jersey shore and especially Long Beach Island will always be a magical place for me. As a kid, I grew up spending my summers there. I think I cried every time we headed up North at the summer’s end. Now I have my own kids and I love that LBI has become a special place in their lives as well.

By the Beautiful Sea ~ Sea Girt, NJ

I had met this beautiful family for their session a year ago when these twins were one. Well, a year later they have grown even more adorable! One boy is fair with blue eyes and one brunette with brown…each so beautiful and unique. What’s more, their mom is expecting again ~ this time twin girls! There will be much love in this family to go around.

Beautiful Family ~ Ringwood, NJ

Such a pleasure to meet this beautiful family…it threatened to rain all day, but we decided to go for it anyway. We got most of the session done before the shower started, but if you look really close at the shots with the wooden airplane, you can see the raindrops. And we still managed to have some fun in the rain and get some more great images…which I love!

Family time… | NJ Family Photographer | Ringwood, New Jersey

I loved this family…they were fun, relaxed and the conversation came easy. The kids were adorable and we had no problem getting them to laugh and play and even strike a dapper pose or two. The little guy was one and half, so when you put him down, he was on the go! And I followed – hey, it’s part of the job description. Then I finally smartened up and asked his brother to catch him, which made for some cute shots.

For this session, we visited the beautiful NJ Botanical Gardens, and this was before the freak snow storm wreaked havoc on many of it’s trees and plants. But our timing was good and the grounds were such a picturesque backdrop for this beautiful family…I just love the results.
