Little honey… | Newborn Photographer | New Haven, CT

This sweet girl’s middle name was decided moments before we arrived for the session.  Her parents met in South Africa…they decided on the middle name of “Outeniqua,” which is a mountain range there.   The name means “the land of the honey gatherers” and by the looks of this sweet little face the name is just perfect.

Sleeping Beauty… | Newborn Photographer | Bergen County, New Jersey

I had the extreme pleasure of doing a newborn session for two very talented photographers who just had their first baby.  They are Brooke and Eric of Be Creative Photography, and they are the proud parents of this most precious little girl.  This baby was truly a sleeping beauty, snuggling up nicely to all the soft, fluffy things we put down around her without fussing at all.  Brooke and Eric were fantastic – relaxed, fun, gracious – they were great people to work with!  If you have a chance, I recommend  you check out their beautiful photography.

And in the meantime, here are some images I took of their sweet lil angel…

Ten Days Young | Newborn & Baby Photographer | Bergen County, NJ

This precious baby girl was ten days young when we had her session, and was a fantastic sleeper.  (After two weeks, newborns don’t tend to sleep quite as soundly, making posing a lot trickier! )  The fuzzy blanket and space heater kept her nice and warm while I clicked away.  When she did wake up, mom was right there and I was able to capture some beautiful moments between them.  I also got some stunners of her older brother who is 22 months.  I LOVE his long hair and beautiful, dark eyes….

Twins | Newborn & Baby Photographer | New Jersey

…a girl and a boy!  The girl loved to sleep…the boy, not so much.  Mom was so relaxed and cool, as we took over her house with piles of blankets, sheets, baskets, bean bags, etc…  The only one who seemed to mind was Duncan, their little dog, who was veeeery protective of his newest family members. (A perfect family watchdog!)  In the end, we did manage to get them both to sleep at the same time…and even hold hands.  Such sweetness!
