Only 6 days old when I met her, this baby girl was all of 5 lbs when she was born. Being so young and small made our session an easy one…she slept the entire time and was very easy to pose. Her mother did a fantastic job with the girlie accessories. This first headband with the leopard print was my favorite, and the pink bloomers a close second. Dad was also there to lend a “hand” and with more than just the hammock, as you’ll see… Enjoy!

Look how peacefully this little newborn girl is sleeping. You would never guess that her dad lulled her into this slumber by cranking up a Pandora rock station. That’s right, he said she liked rock music and cued up a station that played Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones and The Police to send her into la-la land. Of course, I was happy during the shoot, but I would never have imagined a one week old would sleep serenely to the crooning of some classic Rod Stewart. Shows you what I know.
I love her little angel face…I think some new sample canvases featuring this little beauty will be ordered soon – for me!
I love how it looks like she’s wearing lip-liner in this next one. She is so delicate and beautiful…
I was lucky enough to catch some beautiful expressions while she was awake…and alert! Just look at these eyes…

This little baby girl slept like a champ. She was just a week old and seemed to comfortably curl up into all the different positions we tried…and look how peaceful she looks. We even got to have some fun with “the hammock” shot – which is always great when it turns out, but trust me, they have to be in a pretty good slumber for that one! With her delicate features and beautiful coloring, she is such a precious baby. Oh and I just love her lip in the last one…sigh!

OK…this is just the kind of angelic face that makes me, the mother of two wonderful boys, want a little girl. It happened a year ago at her newborn session and it happened again a year later during her one year session. Doesn’t help that she is sweet as pie with me…I could just take her home! OH and the accessories…bows, flowers, pearl bracelet, pink slippers…I was dyin!
Her nursery is fabulously decorated, from the crib to the dresser to the curtains. I have to say, I just love how the framed portrait from our previous session fits right in…
And here is her big brother, who I photographed last summer. In this first photo, I caught him entranced by the tv and I just love the feel of it. Soon afterwards he was engaged and smiling. I think it’s the sparkle in his eyes that makes him such a beautiful model …just like his sister!
Don’t worry guys, the snow’ll be gone soon and we’ll all be outside playing!

With all the outdoor fall sessions I’ve been doing, it was a nice change of pace to have a newborn shoot with this beautiful baby girl. She was just a doll and slept so peacefully the entire time. You may recognize her big sister in the last photo from a previous session – these parents have two of the prettiest girls around!

This family session was awesome….a beautiful expecting mom, a hilarious dad and check out this little sweet pea they have for a daughter… She wasn’t quite into her photo shoot at first, but we eventually got the most adorable expressions out of her. Oh what a few goldfish and toys’ll do!
Mom was radiant…and nothing but belly! I love this one of her.
And it doesn’t get much cuter than this little 17 month old girl…

Hooray for sun!! This past Saturday, we got a little taste of what spring should be like…it couldn’t have been a more beautiful day for a photo shoot with these two beautiful sisters. I love that they each have their own unique look! They were really fun to work with and so cute with each other, too! The day was a tad windy, but I have to say in retrospect that I like the effect…
There were plenty of buttercups…
…and azaleas!
